All About Sawsbuck

Sawsbuck is a normal & grass type Pokemon introduced in generation 5. Known as the Season Pokemon, it knows chlorophyll or sap sipper as it's 2 main abilities, and serene grace as it's hidden ability. You can find them rarely outside Dragonspiral Tower.

Sawsbuck's appearance changes throughout the seasons of Pokemon Black and White, and goes as follows: small pink flowers reminiscent of cherry blossoms, small pink spots on it's back, partially white legs, and a small tuft of hair on it's chest in the Spring, magnificent dark green leaves, a pointed tail and small point of hair on it's neck, and dark legs in the Summer, large, draping patches of red leaves, red spots, a small chest tuft and white legs in the Fall, and lastly, white, bare antlers, white spots, a large and regal white scarf-like patch of neck fur, a snow white stomach, and shaggy white leg fur in the Winter. In general, Sawsbuck is mostly brown with dark brown hooves and antlers, yellow stomach and eye stripes, and a light brown belly and muzzle.

Sawsbuck debuted in BW19, when Burgundy challenged Cilan's Pansage, but lost due to a powerful and rather magnificent solarbeam.

Sawsbuck's Sucky Stats

Unfortunately, being a normal and grass type, Sawsbuck has a grand total of six common weaknesses. This is a major disadvantage, as the types of fighting, flying, poison, bug, fire, and ice are fairly common throughout the Unova region. Aside from that, Sawsbuck has low special attack and defense, something that would seem as a pattern in most normal and grass type Pokemon.

Sawbuck's Strong Suits

Due to Sawsbuck's grass roots (no pun intended), it's attack and speed are quite alright, but are not extremely good. However, if trained properly, Sawsbuck can become a very powerful Pokemon in your party. With it's half resistance to grass, water, electric and ground types, combined with Sawsbuck's ability sap sipper, this Pokemon would definitely be one to consider in most Pokemon battles.

The Seasonal King!

The seasonal beauty of a Sawsbuck is one that in evident in nature, throughout all 4 seasons as they pass through the year. From Winter, to Spring, to Summer and Fall, this Pokemon's grace, style, and magnificence is rarely ever rivaled in the world of Pokemon. Train a Sawsbuck as it should best every battle, and it will not depart from it's ways, adding to this Pokemon's true splendor. Have a wonderful Autumn everybody!
